Privacy Policy
Who we are
Jazz in New York City (jazzinnewyorkcity.com) is published by Doublehead Interactive ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have. Last updated October 18, 2026.
What we collect
Your privacy choice. When you answer the privacy banner we store your choice in a first-party cookie (sc_consent) so we don't ask again. It records only which categories you allowed and when.
Server and security logs. Like any website, our hosting and our network provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to build a profile of you.
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to answer you. We keep messages for as long as needed to handle your request.
We don't require an account, we don't sell tickets, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Advertising
The site is supported by Google AdSense. Google's ad code does not load unless you choose to allow advertising in the privacy banner. If you allow it, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure them and, depending on your choices, personalize them based on your visits to this and other sites. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
We do not load any analytics or social-media tracking scripts.
Links to clubs and ticket sellers
Listings link to clubs' own websites and to ticket sellers. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover. We don't receive information about what you do or buy there.
Your choices
You can change your choice at any time: use the Privacy choices button, which appears on every page after you answer the banner. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, and optional services stay off.
California residents
California law gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, which can include advertising cookies. We don't sell personal information for money. To opt out of advertising cookies, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or turn on Global Privacy Control. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make any other request, contact us using the form on our About page; we may need to verify your request before acting on it.
Visitors from the EU and UK
Where EU or UK law applies, we use optional cookies only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Privacy choices. You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your information, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and ask for your privacy choice again. Questions or requests: use the form on our About page.
